Open shifts: Open a shift up and your team takes it over
An open shift is a shift with no name on it. Everyone with the right job gets it in the app and taps Take over. That is a request, not an assignment: you approve who gets it, so you are not the one ringing round six people.
Templates and fixed shifts: What is the same every week, you plan once
Staff with fixed hours go into the week in one go. A week that worked you save as a template and apply to a later week; overlapping shifts are replaced. The rest you drag in with the mouse.

Publishing the rota: While you are still moving things, nobody sees it
You finish the week, and only then publish. First you see what changes, shift by shift. Shifts that clash — an overlap, or someone rostered outside their availability — are already flagged in red. After publishing the rota is in the app, and anyone who wants to can add it to their own calendar.
Wage costs: See what the week costs while you build it
Under each day are the planned wage costs and what that is against your revenue. Go over the limit you set yourself and the percentage changes colour. You type in your expected revenue, or it comes from your till through Taurus.
Saturday is at 31%. Start the open shift at 18:00 instead.
