Plus and minus hours within Tiemdo represent the balance between scheduled or contractual working hours and the actual registered working hours of an employee. This balance is calculated based on time tracking data compared to predefined schedules or standard working hours.
Plus hours occur when an employee works more hours than planned, while minus hours arise when fewer hours are recorded than expected. The Tiemdo system automatically calculates these differences using clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, rounding rules, and schedule settings.
The plus and minus hours balance is updated in real time and can be viewed per employee, department, or period. Corrections can be applied in a controlled manner, with all changes logged for transparency and auditing purposes. This provides managers with reliable, up-to-date data for workforce planning, payroll processing, and reporting.
